Let me tell you something: if there is anything more awesome in the world than a prepaid debit card, I don't know what it is. For example, I was going shopping the other day for a bazooka and, if possible, an uzi--just for target practice, I assure you--when I came across the extreme firearms of my dreams. The Radical Militiamen Outlet Store was having a bazooka/uzi sale, meaning that with the purchase of any bazooka you get an uzi for half-price. Imagine my joy! Good thing I had my trusty fully-loaded prepaid debit card in my holster (wallet) so I could buy these firearms and walk out with them the very same day. If not for my prepaid debit card I would still be blowing things up with my lousy RPG-launcher. Snore!

I used to be an insomniac before I purchased my two new firearms, but ever since I got home and blew up a couple of landfills with my bazooka and hunted squirrel with my uzi, well, I have slept like a baby. Of course, with my new toys under my pillow. (Ever try to sleep with a bazooka under your pillow? Talk about neck strain.) My sleep would never be possible without my debit card. If I hadn't had the smarts and basic intelligence to carry with me at all times a Visa debit card, I would still be tossing and turning and launching grenades the old-fashioned way: throwing them. That's no way to catch a fish. Don't throw your MasterCard debit card into the lake either.

So my advice to anyone is to use prepaid debit cards when going out gun shopping. Guns are expensive and require a lot of money. Don't carry all that money around. You never know when some dirt bag might be hiding behind your car waiting to rob you and threaten your family. Spraying the scum with bullets will defend your family, sure, but it will entangle you in all kinds of legal drama. Meaning that you won't be able to use your bazooka right away. Better avoid the bad guys and carry a free debit card.

And for the young adult in the family who has yet to learn the basics of proper money management, why not consider a student debit card when you send them off to school?
