Okay, so that's not really how it goes. But that's okay. It doesn't change the fact that a Visa gift card is a gift that's sure to please.
Is Giving as Fun as Receiving?
Not when the gift is a Visa gift card! Oh, actually, it gives you a lot of joy to see how happy the recipient of a Visa gift card is when they get it. But a lot of people don't give it. Why? A couple of reasons. First of all, a lot of people don't even know about them. If the recipient isn't sure what it is, he might be confused at first, thinking you've given them a Visa card. They might wonder how you got a Visa credit card with their name on it, so you might have to explain it to them. But it's not a difficult concept to grasp, and once they understand that it's just a gift card they can use anywhere Visa is accepted, they are likely to be overjoyed.
The other reason giving Visa gift cards hasn't caught on yet is that people don't know where to get them. You can go online and find them at a lot of different web sites, or you can get them at most banks. In some cases, you can even get the personalized for the occasion. They can say "Congratulations,""Happy Birthday,""Thank You," whatever!
And giving Visa gift cards is like giving yourself a gift as well--the gift of time. No more battling the malls to try and find the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person, only to find something that has a 50/50 chance of bringing happiness. With a Visa gift card, they can get anything they want!
As this is being written, Christmas is a mere week and a half away. No doubt you still have those on your list who are hard to buy for. Giving a Visa gift card is like giving them anything and everything they want.
